Tyler McQuarrie Racing and AERO™ Advanced Paint Technology Partner for 2014 Race at Long Beach

PRESS RELEASE

CHARLOTTE, NC (April 3, 2014)—Tyler McQuarrie Racing and AERO Advanced Paint Technology today announced a partnership for the 2014 season for the Formula Drift race in Long Beach, CA highlighting the team’s GoPro, Mobil1, and Hankook Tire sponsorships.

McQuarrie, who also is a respected driver in the Continental Tires Sportscar Challenge for CJ Wilson Racing, assisted with the preparation and install of the AERO film-based paint applique livery on his Chevrolet Camaro. The multi-talented driver stated that the “AERO product was amazing in the way everything pops so much more.” In comparison to vinyl, the AERO product does have a much better aesthetic, while also being half as light and much more durable.

Jim McGuire, CEO of entrotech, Inc., AERO’s parent company was excited to work with McQuarrie. “In addition to the huge performance gains from AERO, we’re providing a valuable platform for sponsors where we can actually make their logos look significantly better, while stripping weight from the car,” McGuire said. “No one else in our industry is doing that—it’s unheard of.”

Tyler McQuarrie Racing will debut the AEROAdvanced Paint Technology livery at the Formula Drift race in Long Beach, CA, this weekend. The livery will be significantly lighter, more durable, than paint and vinyl, while providing enhanced brand equity for GoPro, Mobil1, and Hankook through a greater depth of image, protection of embedded graphics, and high-resolution printing by industry leading printer, The Decal Source.

In addition to its performance benefits, AERO™ Advanced Paint Technology reduces maintenance time versus ordinary paint. The film-based paint applique can be applied and stripped in minutes, since it does not require drying. More information on AERO Advanced Paint Technology is available at www.rethinkpaint.com.
